My Goal is to be the Home Inspector you will recommend to your family and friends.

Too Many Choices?
With so many inspectors out there, how do you choose which one to use?
Choosing the wrong inspector for your Wind Mitigation Inspection may cost you money instead of saving you money. How is that? Many insurance companies have seen so many inspections done incorrectly that they are paying for other inspectors to re-inspect the inspection. If the original inspection was not done properly, you will lose your credits. In addition, you may have to pay some of them back and you will suddenly see your escrow payment increase. That will quickly cost you more than you saved. So much for a cheap inspection!
There are some steps you can take to ensure that the inspector you choose is going to be able to do the job for you.
Take a look at his credentials. What kind of experience does he have? Make sure you can verify his claims. Does he have links on his website that allow you to confirm what he says?
Make sure he has completed Wind Mitigation training as required by state law for all home inspectors.
Talk to your friends who have had an inspection. Were they satisfied with their inspector?
Does he have experience inspecting homes?
Does he keep up with new information through continuing education (Some home inspector organizations have much more stringent continuing education requirements than others).
Is the inspector backed by a $10,000 Honor Guarantee? (see at left)
Talk to the inspector. Does he answer your questions? Do you feel that you would be comfortable working with him?
I have listed my credentials and experience for you and I provide links to verify my claims (see Credentials). I also tell you my promise to you (see My Promise) and provide you with an outline of my experience (see Resume).
Take the time to look over the links at the top of the page and then give me a call. I will be happy to answer your questions.
